David Stern has made dozens of narrative and commercial film projects including three feature films. His most recent, The Forgiving won Best Feature Film at the Maryland International Film Festival and is currently available on Amazon Prime, TubiTV, YouTube and Google Play.
 
After attending New York University's film program, David worked in the commercial industry from boutique production companies to large firms including Daniel J. Edelman Public Relations and BATV, a business news magazine program for ABC.

David has taught film production to college students at George Washington University and high school students at Imagination Stage (Bethesda, Maryland) where he was also the Director of Digital Media for 20-years. During his tenure, he not only developed the film curriculum, but was also producer, director, and editor of video content from promotional videos to full-length stage productions. For David's Anthem video, promoting the mission of Imagination Stage, he won a Silver PEER Award from his colleagues at TIVA in Washington DC.

As an independent filmmaker, David has won numerous awards, including a CINE Golden Eagle for his 24-minute film, Suite Harry. His most recent short film, An Ordinary Guy, took 1st Place at the Open Road Film Festival.
